AVENGERS DUCT TAPE WALLET GIVEAWAY!
This was supposed to be in honor of 500 followers. We hit that mark yesterday, but I hadn’t finished the wallets yet. I figured, hey, I can wait a day.
But in that one day, we skyrocketed past 700 followers.
I am floored and humbled by the response this blog has gotten. It’s just been so positive, and I wanted to give you guys a little something, even though it’s not much.
Rules:
- One like and one reblog only. I want to keep it fair for everyone.
- Must be following! This is specifically to thank everyone who’s following.
- I’ll close the contest on June 1st.
- There will be eight winners! There are two more wallets coming: one with Loki’s staff and one with the SHEILD logo. I’ll update this post with pictures when I get them.
- I’ll post the list of winners, and then contact each one in the order they won to determine who gets which wallet.
- I’ll ship anywhere!
That’s it! Good luck, thank you, and let me know if you have any questions.

French Revolutionary Maximilien Robespierre is one of history’s most misunderstood figures. Painted as cruel, bloodthirsty, and tyrannical by most histories of the French Revolution, Robespierre’s personal and political legacy remain as tainted as the blade of the guillotine he so apparently worshipped. The real Robespierre was neither emotionally devoid nor dictatorial; he was instead, the world’s premier revolutionary: a morally stringent lawyer who modeled his life and his politics after a democratic ideal rooted solely in Enlightenment philosophy. It was this fatal sense of idealism—not a fabricated succession into madness—which would establish Robespierre’s eternal place as scapegoat of a revolution so steeped in bloodletting.

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]Excerpt from La Révolution Française, Seweryn!Robespierre speaking to Cluzet!Desmoulins.
Some commentary -
- Camille prefers the bed.
- Robespierre’s English accent sounds like Sean Connery feigning a French accent.
- Going on accents alone, this could be a discourse between James Bond and Tiger Tanaka from You Only Live Twice, I kid you not. If you haven’t seen that movie, go see it and come back after.
- The way Robespierre says “to boot.”
I LOVE HIS ENGLISH VOICE
GOOD LORD IT MAKES ME WANT TO HUG HIM
